Inktober Day 2

OMG, it's almost midnight and I'm STILL NOT FINISHED! I started POSTING this a half hour ago, this is taking forever!! I need a NEW black PEN! I don't have decent ink!! OMG day 2 and I am out of BLACK INK!? OK I am POSTING ANYWAY! 

This every day is HARD!!

I will now do this differently... I will START and POST what I am Working on Each Day on my BLOG... WHEN I am finished at the End of the Week... I will Post ALL my finished pieces

My Heated Discussion on Mike Judge Characters

So both my boyfriend and I are fans of Mike Judge back since the Beavis & Buttead/Daria/KingoftheHill, then Office Space (one of my top 5 of all time #DayzFaves movies, EVER...) and so on...

I watched this video the other night on Mike Judge on the Characters of Office Space, Great video, Any Office Space fan would LOVE this!  Which lead to me talking about People Skills, and all that... I put on this clip and I got to the Point of Chicken as mentioned earlier. So bad so, I was crying, my waist lost at least an inch (just guessing? hehe) 

Ok, I shall get to the nib... 

 The next Day, I had mentioned to him (for some reason he was in the other room NOT watching it with me, playing music or something) it got to Gary Coles character Bill Lumbergh, and how he basically based HIS character on Mike Judge's version in his early comic of Office Space.





 I had mentioned this him and we got into a VERY short heated argument on who Mr. Anderson was.  

p.s. Remember we are BOTH DIE hard fans of all these series, and we know a LOT of stuff about them, He knows many of the quotes and he can do some of the voices (maybe I can get him to do them sometime!  He's so good at them! <3 )

Him: OH so did he base his MMMkay on Mr. Anderson? The Hippie teacher?

Him: NOOO... Because the Principal was Mr. Vandriessen... and Mr. Anderson wore the peace sign and the long hair.

I was puzzled for a second, then I said...

Me: NOOOO... MR. ANDERSON IS WHO HANK HILL WAS BASED ON...

(And we were BOTH REALLY REALLY angry when he said...)

Him: WAIT!! McVicker was the Principal! Mr. Van Driessen WAS the Hippie and YES Mr. Anderson, WOW! Wait, where did that come from?

We kinda both just laughed about how angry we were about something so small, but we are both DAMN WELL SURE we are right... lol. I do that sometimes too. Brain Fart leads to silly arguments! 

You just gotta laugh at things like this and not them let you bother you, like poor Milton. Well not anymore, he can buy the whole island!

MORAL OF THE STORY:
 Don't let silly arguments get the best of you!

The Point of Chicken

Ok... so throughout my childhood, (I don't remember when it started) Someone I was with and I were laughing SO hard, we were at the point of tears and nothing could stop us from laughing. Every time we stopped to take a breath, we'd laugh even harder. They told me, (or maybe we made it up on the spot, at this point who knows!) that might be The Point of Chicken... when you laugh SO hard, that even the word Chicken becomes hilariously funny.  Maybe thats what we were laughing about for some reason...  Then, through the years, I used this term when I would get to that point with friends...  I am sure I have told several people, yet no one ever had heard it besides me and my friend. 

Well I had told my boyfriend years ago, he remembers me telling him... yet I went to go post something with a Hashtag, but #pointofchicken didn't exist! Has NO one EVER heard that? 

I got to the point of chicken TONIGHT watching this clip

Office Space is one of my Favorite movies of all time, and I Totally get this guy...  I am good with people, one on one when it's something I am interested in or I know it so well it is like second nature. NOT when my whole life/career is on the line. That's a LOT of pressure to try to explain why they should "Keep You Around" like you are disposable... 

But this was basically how we, especially I, was feeling when he got frustrated... how I feel sometimes when I am put on the spot. And with my anxiety, I don't have that great of a filter or a Grin and Bear it attitude.  

Anyway I was laughing so hard, the whole thing must have lasted 15 minutes where I kept busting up and my boyfriend was more amused with my reaction 

You see how that at the end, someone asks how many pounds they lost right now... nothing really even related to the specific joke, just the reaction... all was calm and then you hear more laughter about to explode again. 

 When the joke is over, no one is saying anything anymore, and then a roar of more laughter uncontrollably. 

This would be The Point of Chicken. 

To be my Favorite movie (for comedies especially) or show... I have to get to this point!

I dare you to not laugh at least at a few of these...

I want to know if anyone else remembers this, or me telling about the phrase. Did you ever hear it again? Or did we just make it up? I would really like to know. I would like to see more of it too!#DayzGoals See people at the Point of Chicken, and maybe even see Jimmy Fallon (who is constantly putting people in a perpetual state of #PointofChicken) asking people for #PointofChicken videos. Not about chickens (unless someone is at the POINT of Chicken and the word chidown or the clucking really DOES make people laugh harder... That is ok! Just videos of people who can't stop laughing, That would be AWESOME!

Girl was Clueless, but Donald Not "Faised" Why are you?

A few days ago A girl was walking down the street when a CELEBRITY shows up and is excited about her shirt..... But the girl was "Clueless" to who he was... He thought it was a little funny that she was wearing his FACE on her shirt, but didn't know who he was. He asked if he could take a picture, and posted it on Instagram like most people would when they see or experience something funny during their day. Especially if it involves THEM personally.

I first saw the article on Facebook. My boyfriend and I, having had grown up in the 90s (80s/90s) and being that I love Clueless, and my Random Recognizerness thought it was a bit amusing, but also felt bad for the poor girl. 

Apparently his humor in the situation brought on torment for her. He did NOT mean for her to get bullied, I am sure that was not his intention at all.

I do agree, If you wear something, you should know what you are wearing, Why you are wearing it?

If it's not because you like the band/movie/message, then why are you wearing it... Just think about that. There has been a long going term for that...   Poser.  I'm sorry, but if you do NOT know what you are wearing, or have a reason for it, people are going to ask, and a lot will judge. It's life, it happens. It isn't right, but still, it happens.  

If you like Nirvana, Wear their shirts...  If you ONLY know ONE song by Nirvana or asks "who is Kurt Cobain?" when they are Wearing a Nirvana Shirt...  people will not take you seriously. You buy the clothes, backpacks, jewelry because you LOVE the Meaning, The Band, The Film.

But then there are some, like me growing up, who felt awkward in social situations, no matter what. Those who choose to mock people socially, no matter whose, "side" they are on isn't right. people are who they are!

Sit down and Watch Clueless Together, Have Girls Night In, Movie and a Makeover THEN give your ?mother/daughter/sister/friend the tee shirt. It will mean so much more when Donald Faison runs up to them in the street! hehe

These days, we are Walking Billboards, whether we like it or not.

In turn. To all the people who are now turning on Donald for this whole thing. You don't need to cyber-bully Him, Just as they didn't need to cyber-bully her.

Yes, she should have known who was on her shirt. Who knows, *there are people out there who can't recognize anyone at all, sometimes people they see every day. It's called Prosopagnosia. Brad Pitt may be one of the many who suffers from it, and people sometimes label them as rude, or disrespectful because they do not recognize people or have to ask where they met them.

Not everyone has the power of Super Recognition , and you don't know where people are coming from, you don't know everyone's story, so try not to be so cruel to people, ok?
